Ninja Master Prep – Ninja Master Prep Review

Ninja Master Prep

Ninja Master Prep Professional Review

The Ninja Master Prep is going to make you the master of your kitchen.  Check out the Ninja Master Prep Professional Review!

I saw the Ninja Master Prep Professional on TV the other day and was hesitant to try it after my recent battle with the magic bullet.  I know that these two appliances are a little different, but I was not happy with the magic bullet at all.  It broke after just a few days, and I had to pay to get it fixed.  Not happy.

So I actually decided to buy Ninja Master Prep with a chip on my shoulder.  I received the Ninja Master Prep Professional in the mail and it looked like a pretty well built little blender.

Ninja Master Prep Review

a

I’ve been putting this little blender through it’s paces the last couple of days, and I have to say, it passed with flying colors.

Below are some of the things that I have tried with the Ninja Master Prep.

Icecubes- The Ninja Master Prep had no problem blasting through even the biggest ice cubes in my freezer.  And yes, it did produce the creamy fluffy snow.

Grinding nuts – awesome! I frequently use nuts in my baking and cooking, from really coarsely chopped to fine nut flours. It did it all! A regular food processor generally either can’t go beyond the coarse chunks, or has the undesirable three-fold of nutbutter at the bottom, somewhat coarsely chopped nuts in between and hardly touched nuts on top! I would usually do little 1/4 cup batches in my coffee grinder, which a lot of shaking and sifting! Not with my Ninja Master Prep Professional.

Chopping veggies – Performed beautifully. I added chunks of random veggies, they all came out nicely and pretty evenly chopped, even leeks!

I used the Ninja Master Prep to finely chop some lemon and orange peel, chopped like a champ!  Very nice and even processing!

Smoothies- The smoothies came out really good!  Usually my smoothies have big chunks and I have to push all the ingredients down to the bottom several times.  With the power of the Ninja Master Prep, it was very easy and painless to make really smooth smoothies.

Soups- Some of the soups we made were delicious.  Made it really convenient as well.  The Ninja Master Prep cut the time it took to make the soup in half.  Between blending the soup ingredients and chopping the veggies, it went really fast.

Pastry Dough and Crumble Toppings- did very well in the even distribution of the cold butter.

Egg Salad- I was worried about making egg salad with the Ninja Master Prep.  I thought it might turn it into egg salad mush.  But to my surprise, with just a couple of pulses I had some of the best egg salad I’d ever eaten.  I just cut the eggs in half and threw in all my ingredients, and after a couple pulses, it was ready to go!  This is one of my favorite Ninja Master Prep Recipes so far!

Ice Cream- No lie, I just made ice cream in about 2 minutes. I am shocked and amazed. Here is one of the Ninja Master Prep Recipes I used for ice cream. I used 1/2 and 1/2, white chocolate pudding mix(for flavor) and frozen strawberries with a few semi-sweet chocolate chips thrown in, which it totally shredded and integrated into it. If you have a sweet tooth, add a little powdered sugar. Seriously, it’s like bought ice cream, but better. Amazing!

I did some price checking and the cheapest I found the Ninja Master Prep was on Amazon.  It is free shipping and your backed with Amazon’s amazing customer service.  They are extremely trusted and are usually my first choice to buy most things.  Click the link below to buy the Ninja Master Prep, you can also compare prices and see customer reviews.

The secret to this machine does however seem to be the short pulsing actions. Letting it run for any length of time, doesn’t help much and is in fact counterproductive in this machine. You’re actually not supposed to hold it down, it could hurt the machine.  In fact, I think that is why you see the product get some bad reviews.  You see a lot of people stripping the gears.  I think this is a user induced problem.  If you hold it down, it could hurt the motor.

Right out of the box, it seems quite sturdy. Not indestructible, but pretty sturdy for a plastic food processor. All the parts come apart pretty easily, even the non slip rings come off, so clean up isn’t a problem! After use, pretty much everything rinsed off quite easily.

The lids do come in handy too!

The only cons I could find:

It’s easy to overload the containers (especially the small one) and then you don’t get the even processing – or you can’t fit the lid on correctly anymore.
Lining up the lids and the machine can take a second or two. They don’t just go on any which way, you do need to line them up.

All in all it is so far the best performing food processor/blender/smoothie maker I’ve used (I’ve used quite a few!) and is an excellent value for the money. Time will tell how it performs on durability!
